Nevada mapThe Center for Regional Studies is an economic development collaborative between the University of Nevada, Reno, College of Business Administration and the Nevada Small Business Development Center.

The Center serves the State of Nevada with data and market analyses designed to help a business select a location for operations, understand current market trends, and predict where the local economy is headed.

Data is provided on new home construction, home sales and foreclosures, current and future population demographics, employment and average salaries, retail revenue and sales and much more.

Some resources on the site are free while others are reasonably priced.

What comparable service does your state provide?



  1. California’s Economic Development Department has labor market information for the state, counties, metropolitan areas, and cities. On a county page, you can get unemployment rates, size of the labor force, employment by industry (with projections into the future), major employers, wages by occupation, projections of employment by occupation, income data, and more.
